Volcanic Sand Minerals and Rock Grains.  Common minerals found in Hawaiian volcanic rock samnds.  Note that aegirine and diopside are types of pyroxene, and analcime and plagioclase are types of feldspar.  Volcanic glass is another name for obsidian.   Bar scale at side of image is in 1 millimeter increments.
